Swiftrial supports three independent organisation types. Each one runs its own workspace — pick the one that describes you. You can always be invited into others later.

Research site

A hospital, clinic or institution that runs trials. Your PIs and coordinators propose site budgets and sign the CTRA through your Research Governance Office.

Sponsor

Trial sponsor

A pharma or biotech company funding a trial. You issue the budget template, invite your sites, and negotiate per-patient and start-up costs directly.

Contract research org

A research organisation running trials on a sponsor's behalf. You manage budget rounds across many sites and drive CTRA negotiations to signature.
